ULTRASEXI is a Dutch, Amsterdam based, cooperative, creative and production platform for, and with, young multi-talent. It was founded in 2008 with the aim to match, encourage, inspire and support young creative people. And throughout it’s existence we have experienced a significant network growth in all creative fields connected.
We use parties and nightlife as medium and transmitter to show our ideals of a creatieve, openminded society.
August 2005 we started M.U.L.T.S.E.X.I. in Studio80 in Amsterdam.
In 2006 we organized every Wednesday night, F*cking Pop Queers (FPQ), with the formula of 20% old pop/disco music and 80% new. Since 2009 it's every second saturday of the month at Jimmy Woo, Amsterdam.
In 2008 M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I celebrated it’s third birthday under the name of ULTRASEXI at Paradiso, Amsterdam, that night was a huge success. It was the start of a new tradition. Every year at Gaypride we celebrate at Paradiso.
Also in 2008 we started Ultraviolet in Flexbar, Amsterdam, a party around; Art,Music,Light &Fashion.
In 2011 we expanded with FPQ XL at Paradiso.
M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I.
The first connections and co-productions are mostly conceived at M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. a party we organize.
M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. was an extremely successful monthly night at Studio 80 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Visited by the young artistic Avant-garde and fashion scene of Amsterdam.
This night was first organized on August 5th 2005 at the Gay pride Amsterdam. Its aim was to give of a signal, indicating that there is more than the monocultures of the straight, gay and lesbian world.
From the start the party has had healthy mix of people from various backgrounds and sexual orientation’s.
The nights where always developed with an underlying theme, which is enlarged through satire. We love to see our guests as playful children and their artistic playing is highly appreciated.
M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. had his last night at the 4th of June 2011 with the theme: “M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. forever”
UltraSexi revolves around a number of our views:
1. Open-minded is seen by us as the main ingredient of an ideal society.
2. Everyone is welcome if they accept and respect "our" open-minded society.
3. The Homo Ludens, the playful human, is the basic inspiration of all our "happenings"
4. Creativity of our visitors is greatly appreciated
5. We guarantee a "safe haven" where people can be who they want to be without falling into anarchy.
6. We are aiming to create a global network of like-minded people.
7. Various social and political developments are taken en passant. They are reflected in, for example, the visuals, decor and performances that are all linked to the thematic content of a night. With this we aim to show that everything has multiple perspectives.
8. The main purpose is bringing like-minded people in contact with each other by means of meeting in a festive setting.
We may also take a reserved attitude towards sponsorship as it is only about consumption and brand awareness.
